One look at Beni Ubi Gohon and you will see why these narrow red and red-green leaves give the name translated as ‘Five Red Fingers’. In spring the leaves open to green and red shaded turning to a striking scarlet red in the fall. Perfect for troughs, patio containers, and all small landscape scenes. It is slow growing untrimmed to about 4-5 feet at 10 years or easily kept shorter with trimming. Give normal Japanese maple conditions with filtered shade, moderate water and good drainage. Shipping size 18-24 inches just starting to form a crown.
