Penstemon pygmaeus aka miniature beardtongue . Tiny alpine perennial. Easy to grow. Charming ¾ inch tubular flowers o lavender with white tips on 3-4 inch stems. Low growing. Makes tiny compact mat. Perfect for rock gardens, fairy gardens, and all small scale scenes. Prefers full sun and excellent drainage in gritty or rocky soil. Little or no fertilizer needed. Looks delicate but is very hardy. Takes some drought when established (2-3 years) Zones 3-9.
